Sketching and Painting Santa Fe
Small, half-day classes are held year round. This three-hour class is an especially fun activity for friends and family members to share. We supply the materials and a jump start for first-timers, and added spark for those with previous art experience. Study individually or in a small group, in the studio or outdoors. Sketching Santa Fe is also available for groups. This is a fun and creative leisure time activity that can be designed as either an outdoor adventure or an art studio class. All needed materials are supplied and no previous experience is required. Calling or email for more information.

Ghost Ranch Intensives
Three to six day intensive workshops are held at Ghost Ranch Retreat Center, north of Santa Fe in Abiquiu. Ghost Ranch is a very powerful and beautiful setting for outdoor painting. Once the home of Georgia O'Keeffe, this country retains her spirit. Day trips available.

Santa Fe Five-Day Pastel Landscape Intensive
Creativity, Color and Composition
5 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 to Thursday, June 12, 2008.
Class sessions are held in beautiful outdoor settings. We take advantage of the dramatic light and sunsets in Santa Fe, meeting at twilight as well as in the earlier part of the day. A day trip to Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu is featured. Workshop is limited to nine participants so that instruction can be individualized. You will be encouraged to develop an expressive and creative response to what you are seeing. In additon, Jane will guide you towards color, imaginative simplification and a vibrant and energetic use of pastel and mixed media techniques. Three to five hours a day are spent with the instructor. In addition, students will be guided to chosen locations to work independently on specific assignments. Sessions will be held in Jane's Studio in the event of inclement weather. Tuition is $545 including NM Gross Receipts Sales Tax. Additional site fees, such as the day use fee of $10 per person to paint at Ghost Ranch, may apply. Please arrange for your own lodging, meals and transportation. Jane will send you a list of suggested places and a supply list after you have registered.

Individual Intensives
Plan your time in Santa Fe around a series of private art classes with Jane. This is for committed artists or serious beginners. Jane will work with you to plan a creative intensive. You may also include an art therapy concentration. Ask about discounts if you book three or more classes.

Art Studio Visit
A visit to Jane Shoenfeld’s studio can be arranged, independent of participating in a class. Visits are informal. Jane is relaxed, friendly and articulate in sharing about her process of making art as well as the gallery scene in Santa Fe.
